Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) has declared the MBA II-Semester 2009 and MBA II-Semester 2009 (Back). RTU has also declared B.H.M.C.T. PART-III (OLD SCHEME) results.

Ajith to discard his title Ultimate Star
Ajith has already started the campaign to promote his Aasal.
The star has decided to dump the title ‘Ultimate star’ given by his fans many years back!
Ajith in an interview to a leading Tamil daily has said: “Indian film industry is rapidly changing and in this new age scenario the title ‘Ultimate Star’ means irrelevant, so I have decided to drop that prefix from the posters and publicity of my Aasal. I have written to the producers of the film Sivaji Production requesting them not to use the title.”
Remember putting a “prefix title” to superstars has been happening since the days of MGR and Sivaji. Over the years after a hit little known star’s started having titles added to their names, which created a ridiculous situation.
Three cheers to Ajith, for being bold and daring in his approach. He had the guts to do it and let us hope his fans will implement it.

Rosaiah will symbolically launch the programme today by administering a dose of trivalent oral polio vaccine to a child. The vaccine is found to be effective in tackling all the three types of polio virus.
Over 1,860 mobile teams would cover the children of nomadic groups, beggars, migrated families, labourers at the construction sites and even agriculture fields. The State saw no polio case in 2005 and 2006 when 66 and 676 cases reported all over the country respectively. Andhra Pradesh reported only one case in 2008 (559 in India ) and nil in 2009 (703). Anil Punitha, Commissioner, Family Welfare, said doses would be administered at booths on Jan. 10 whereas the volunteers and health officials would visit houses during the next two days to do the same there.

What seems to have been sure of this sad news that the Angolan bus driver, died in the panel, said a spokesman Stanislas Ocloo and assistant coach Amalete Abalo in the shooting.
Nine other people were injured – two players, assistant director, doctor, goalkeeping coach and another coach.
Serge Akakpo defender, who plays for Romanian club Vaslui, and was hit by two bullets, and lost a lot of blood (…) The club said his condition is stable and he underwent successful surgery. Reserve goalkeeper Obilale, who plays for French club GSI Pontivy, was also seriously wounded and taken to a hospital in South Africa, while many of the other players in need of treatment.
Responsibility for this attack was claimed by the rebels of the Liberation Front of Cabinda (FLEC). FLEC has been fighting for the independence of the oil-rich region, and threatened to launch further attacks.

Sundar C starrer Murattu Kaalai, which is a remake of Superstar Rajnikanth's yesteryear film with the same title, was stalled due to some reasons.
The film is produced by Kalainyar TV Network and is directed by Selva Bharathi. It seems that the budget had exceeded above-the-line as lavish amount was spent on junior artists.
When the production team suddenly visited the shooting spots, the members were miffed to witness that most of the junior artists were paid for no reason.
Apparently, the shooting was reported to be cancelled and the Selva Bharathi had to ardently apologize. Now after furnishing a detailed production design, the shooting has resumed and the director has planned to complete the schedules within short span of time.

The actor is all set to tie the knot with Genelia D'Souza this year
Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza are all set to solemnise their love story. The lovebirds who met on the set of their 2003 film Tujhe Meri Kasam and fell in love, will get married in 2010.
It is believed that the families have given Ritiesh their blessings and the shaadi will take place in July this year. The Deshmukhs is already making preparations and have told their relatives and close friends about a tentative wedding date.
Those close to Riteish always knew that he would eventually get married to her. She is the first girl he invited home to meet his parents. At the time, the family had reservations about him bringing in a non-Maratha bahu but they saw that their beta was serious even after six years.
It's been over four years since his older brother Amit got married, and there was pressure for Riteish to get married. He made it clear that his choice was Genelia who he calls Genes lovingly. Both sets of parents met and now the wheels have been set in motion.
The couple has also purchased property at Pali Hill where they plan to shift post-wedding. "Riteish being an architect has been busy hunting property for the last few months. In fact, he and Genelia have sat down and designed the interiors. Some of their close friends have even seen the blueprint and it looks very impressive."
Giving details about the wedding the source adds, "The Deshmukhs have many relatives from Latur and they've all have been informed."
The shaadi was even a hot topic of discussion Sunday night when Riteish invited Shah Rukh, Gauri, Karan, Sajid Khan along with some friends over for dinner. "Whenever his friends are over, they all keep teasing and prodding him about tying the knot. Now he's finally told them that he is taking the plunge this year."

Tamil Nadu government to crackdown on pirates!
Top guns of Kollywood- Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Ramanarayanan and Abirami Ramanathan met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi to discuss the issue of video piracy.
The issue has blown up following the leak of Sarath Kumar’s Jaggubhai on the internet and pirated videos. M. Karunanidhi the man who has done the maximum for Tamil film industry, went out of his way and promised to take action against persons who are in possession of pirated VCDs and DVDs of films.
The government will also take action against producers and sellers of pirated copies of feature films in the form of reels, compact discs and digital video discs. All those dealing in such illegal activities would be booked under the Goondas Act.
Later the delegation from the film industry thanked Kalaignar for taking prompt action against those who indulged in piracy of Jaggubhai.

Director Madhumita, after her critically acclaimed hit Vallamai Tharayo is back this time with a comedy Kola Kolaya Mundhrika (KKM) The audio of the film was launched on Friday morning at a popular multiplex.
The audio was released by K Balachader and received by veteran actress Sachu. Those attended the launch included Rama Narain, VC Guhanathan, Sivasakthi Pandian , Sarath Kumar , Chitralaya Gopu and Kalaignanam apart from writer Crazy Mohan and lead artistes of KKM, Karthik Kumar, Shikha and Anand Raj.
The trailer of the film was launched by Nadigar Sangam Chief Sarath Kumar. Two songs from the film were screened and one of them Oru Manam.. was to was shot in Jakarta.
Madhumitha, the director of KKM said: “It was the success of my first film that gave me the confidence to try out another film in a different genre. I don’t find any constraints being a woman in the industry as everyone is professional in their approach .”

The enormous temple complex is dedicated to Shiva, known here as Sundareshvara and his consort Parvati or Meenakshi. The original temple was built by Kulasekara Pandya, but the entire credit for making the temple as splendid as it is today goes to the Nayaks. Best Director Award & Best Screenplay award for Ghajini
The fifth Apsara Film and TV Producers Guild Awards were presented recently amidst much fanfare at the Chitrakoot Grounds at Andheri. The Best Actor award went to Shah Rukh Khan for starring in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and the Best Actress award was bagged by Priyanka Chopra for the film Kaminey.
The director of Ghajini was adjudged the Best Director. The film’s screenplay also went on to win the Best Screenplay award.
Amitabh Bachchan was awarded with the Best Lifetime Achievement award.

Eedu Jodu Audio Launched
The audio of the film “Eedu Jodu”, produced and directed by Seetharamaraju on GRK Films was released at the Film Chamber building, Hyderabad.
Popular director Kodi Ramakrishna, C. Kalyan, Pandurangarao, Seetaramaraju, G. Ramakrishna, Vinjamuri Madhu, Satyam Ratnala, Jonnavittula, Vanamali, Narendra, Sankar, TS Raju and Prasad Raju were present.
Kodi Ramarksihna unveiled the audio CD and presented the first edition to Panduranga Rao. C. Kalyan released the audio cassette and presented it to G. Ramakrishna.
Kodi Ramakrishna said: “The director of this film had earlier produced the film Avide Syamala, which was directed by me. He is man of aesthetic sense with a good understanding over the craft of direction. Satyam Ratnala scored good music. I hope the film would be successful.”

Chris Cairns vs Lalit Modi
Former New Zealand all-rounder Chris Cairns has said he will sue the IPL chairman Lalit Modi for his comments about him.
Earlier Modi said that Cairns has been removed from the IPL 3 auction list due to a match-fixing taint in the ICL.
He also said that the statement has caused him some personal difficulties.
"The allegation made by Lalit Modi that I have been involved in match fixing is scandalous and wholly untrue"—he said.
“For him to circulate such a falsehood around the world is outrageous. Mr. Modi's allegation has caused me huge personal distress and professional damage.”—he added.
Sources also say that he has consulted Rhory Robertson at Collyer Bristow in London, who is a leading specialist lawyer with extensive experience in both defamation and professional sports.
