Antonio Vivaldi on Google homepage as Doodle

Google commemorates the 332nd birth anniversary of the Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi on its homepage as its Doodle. Google Doodle is a platform where the giant search engine alters its logo to pay tribute to the greatest personalities of history.

Antonio Vivaldi born in 1678 in Venice to a professional violinist was the oldest of the nine siblings. He was raised in the Republic of Venice. He was nicknamed “Il Prete Rosso” meaning The Red Priest because of his red hair. His best known work is a popular series of four violin concerti, The Four Seasons. It was composed in 1723.

Vivaldi died in impoverishment in 1741 just like Mozart. He battled acute bronchial asthma throughout his life.

Some of the Google Doodle included Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, Michael Jackson birthday, Sir Isaac Newton’s birthday, Samuel Morse birthday and now Antonio Vivaldi has also joined the rank.
