The Indian Premiere League 2010 (IPL) will be broadcasted Live on Youtube.
Its good news for cricket fans across the world , particularly to those who dont have access to live TV channels.
The Indian Premier League has got into a deal with search engine giant Google to provide cricket streaming on YouTube. This was announced by Lalit Modi, the chief of IPL on Tuesday.
The games will either be shown live or will be deferred live based on the country in which the games will be telecast.
This deal will be for two years, and the IPL is expected to earn out of
the same through advertising and sponsorship revenue sharing.
It is not yet known whether the fans would be able to watch the
tournament – 60 games in this edition – for free or whether there will
be some subscription charges for it.
This agreement will allow the fans from all over the world to watch the
tournament live. This includes all the nations where the broadcasting
rights have yet to be sold, including UK, where Setanta had won the
rights but had soon declared itself bankrupt.

Chinmayi is cheered up
It’s not just Goutham Vasudev Menon, Silambarasan and Trisha who are thrilled with the success of ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’. Equally happy is singer Chinmayi, who has dubbed for Trisha in the movie.
“Besides Trisha, I have also dubbed for Samantha for ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’, the Telugu version of ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’. I can’t forget the days I dubbed for both the films,” she says, expressing gratitude to Goutham.
“Goutham is a great teacher. He would act out every word to bring out the best from me. Because the film is so close to his heart and he wanted nothing but the best be it onscreen or off screen,” she says.
Claiming she has been receiving rave responses from fans and friends, Chinmayi says she is fluent in six languages (Tamil, Telugu, English, Hindi, French and German) and this helped her a lot while dubbing for ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ and ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’.

Ajith has come out of all the recent happenings which made him remain silent from announcing anything about his 50th film. Now that all is well he is busy working on the project.
It will be cop story and was reported that the title would be ‘Thuppariyum Anand’. But our sources now say, that ‘Thuppariyum Anand’ was never under consideration and now Goutham has suggested the title ‘Kaaval’ for the film. Goutham has applied for the title to Film Chamber and once the approval comes it will be announced officially.
Another major development in the process is that Ajith’s camp is planning to invite Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi and the state DIG would for the launch function.
For information, ‘Kaaval’ was the title of a film released in 1985 starring Thyagarajan and Nalini. It was the Tamil remake of Govind Nihalani’s off beat Hindi film ‘Ardh Satya’. The 1985 film was also the story of an upright cop.

Shruthi records her Kannada song
Readers will remember it was IndiaGlitz that broke the news of Shruthi Haasan singing for the Kannada film ‘Prithvi’. Even Shruthi was surprised in a statement to a popular news paper.
But, truth always triumphs. Shruthi Haasan has recorded her song for ‘Prithvi’ at Bombay Brothers Studio in Mumbai on Sunday afternoon. Shruthi Haasan was welcomed with a bouquet by producers Soorappa Babu, NS Rajakumar, music director Manikanth Khadri and director of ‘Prithvi’ Jacob Verghese.
Shruthi Haasan completed the duet portion of the song ‘Nenapidhu Nenapidhu…’ that will feature on Parvathi Menon in just two hours.
‘Prithvi’ stars Power star Puneeth Rajakumar and Parvathi Menon. Shruthi Haasan was invited for the audio release of the film ‘Prithvi’ and she has promised to make it in Bangalore.
