Hyundai Motors unveiled its electric version of popular Hyundai i10 on the second day of 10th Auto Expo 2010.
The electric version of Hyundai i10 was unveiled by Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan.
The new Hyundai i10 electric has been powered by 49kw electric motor while the company has used the same lithium-ion battery pack, which is used in mobile phones. The power of battery is 16 kWh where electricity will be stored.
Apart from Hyundai i10 electric, the company has also showcased three other models at Auto Expo 2010. Hyundai displayed i-mate, H1 Wagon and Genesis Coupe.
The Bollywood stars paid visit to Auto Expo on the second day. After Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan launched his favourite SUV Mahindra Scorpio.
M&M launched Mahindra Scorpio and Mahindra Navistar Trucks on Wednesday.

* It is better to apply castor oil for a healthy growth of hair.
* Wash hair with tea once in a week.
* Apply besan in the hair and wash it with water drained from the cooked rice.
* Soak a handful of gooseberry in a cup of milk for two hours. Make it as a paste and apply in the hair.
* Apply the mixture of an egg white, 2 spoon of castor oil, 1 spoon glycerin, in the scalp and hair. Wash it after some time.
* Massage hair with warm coconut oil an hour before washing. Let it soak. Cover your head with a hot towel and wash your hair after an hour or so.

TV adventurer Bear Grylls dishes to ET about his all-new, death-defying escapades on the upcoming season of "Man vs. Wild" - and he reveals which celebs he'd like to recruit for expeditions on the show!
"I always say to the crew of 'Man vs. Wild' before we start shooting each [episode], 'Look, you can get it right a thousand times; you only get it wrong once. We gotta look out for each other and we've gotta stay safe,'" says Bear, who ET caught up with on the set of his photo shoot for the May issue of Outside magazine.
"My wife's very long suffering … I don't let her see too many of the [episodes]," he adds with a grin. "I think it's just gonna rock the boat, so I tend to just come home and then I'm back into family life. … My kids come running out and want me to go and catch worms and ants."
Bear, who memorably took Will Ferrell adventuring on a "Man vs. Wild" special, says he next hopes to shoot a celeb-episode with Ben Stiller. He says he also wouldn't mind teaming up with Jennifer Lopez for an expedition -- "She'd be brilliant."
Bear returns with all-new episodes of "Man vs. Wild" tonight at 9 p.m. on the Discovery Channel.

Sura Shooting Spot : Vijay and Tamanna in Pondy
Ilayathalapathy Vijay is shooting for his 50th film Sura in Pondicherry from today.
Some crucial action scenes and a few talkie portion of the film will be shot there. A huge set has been put up in Pondy for the shoot of the film.
Tamanna will also be a part of this five day shoot. The director of the film is SP Rajkumar, who has done Alagar Malai earlier.
According to sources close to the unit: “Sura is a typical mass masala Vijay film which will be a treat to his fans. He wants to give something back to his fans worldwide who have been extremely nice to him and encouraged him all the time.”
The action scenes in the film are going to be one of its highlights. Vijay after watching the Telugu blockbuster Maghadheera, was impressed by its villain Dev Gill. The Punjabi lad Dev with no filmi connections is playing the politician villain in Sura.

Kolkata, Aug 3 (IANS) Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) patriarch Jyoti Basu was extremely shocked at the news of the death of West Bengal Transport Minister Subhas Chakraborty here Monday.
According to Basu's personal assistant Joy Krishna Ghosh, the nonagenarian leader while expressing sorrow, said: "It is my time to go. But the irony is I am alive, while Subhas is no more. He was a very capable leader."
"Basu said that Subhas passed away at a young age," Ghosh added.
Ruling Left Front chairman and CPI-M state unit secretary Biman Bose, weeping while announcing the demise of Chakraborty, said he had broken the news to Jyoti Basu personally.
"I went to Jyoti Basu's residence to inform him about Chakraborty's death. He was extremely shocked to hear the news," Bose told reporters here.
Chakraborty died in a city hospital Monday morning after battling lung and kidney disorders besides severe heart problem. He was 68.
Party sources said Chakraborty was also in advanced stage of cancer, but the hospital did not confirm it.
The minister was given blood transfusion Sunday night for increasing his platelet count and also underwent dialysis.

Veteran Left Front leader and West Bengal ex-Chief Minister Comrade Sri Jyoti Basu has passed away at around 1:30 pm today, 6th January 2010 after a period of breif illness at the Salt Lake AMRI Hospital in Kolkata. Jyoti Basu was shifted to the ventilator and put on life support system when he developed breathing trouble at early morning hours but Jyoti Basu passed away in the afternoon hours, hospital’s internal sources revealed.
The death news of Sri Jyoti Basu has not yet been broken in the news media as doctors are still taking some time to observe him for some time. But, a history has just now passed away. He was the pioneer of Leftist movement in India.
