Ajith has already started the campaign to promote his Aasal.
The star has decided to dump the title ‘Ultimate star’ given by his fans many years back!
Ajith in an interview to a leading Tamil daily has said: “Indian film industry is rapidly changing and in this new age scenario the title ‘Ultimate Star’ means irrelevant, so I have decided to drop that prefix from the posters and publicity of my Aasal. I have written to the producers of the film Sivaji Production requesting them not to use the title.”
Remember putting a “prefix title” to superstars has been happening since the days of MGR and Sivaji. Over the years after a hit little known star’s started having titles added to their names, which created a ridiculous situation.
Three cheers to Ajith, for being bold and daring in his approach. He had the guts to do it and let us hope his fans will implement it.
