SRTC (Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation) provides public bus service in the state of Maharashtra and to its surrounding states such as Karnataka, Rajasthan, Goa and Madhya Pradesh. According to official information, the MSRTC has a fleet of about 16,000 buses. Like many state road transport corporations, the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation is also mulling over the thought of having online bus reservation system for buses being run by the MSRTC. At present there is no official online booking/reservation of seats done by the MSRTC cannot but online bus tickets for various Maharashtra cities can be booked through bus reservation portals like
