BSNL is all set to launch the 3G mobile service in Erode from February 2010. BSNL is currently focusing on installing the equipments required for the 3G services.
Sources also say that the installation services will be completed by second week of February. And BSNL has planned to launch the service either in the third or fourth week of February.
With this the Erode BSNL customers can have facilities like High speed internet facility, video calling etc.
BSNL currently has more than 2.70 Lakh customers including prepaid and postpaid.
BSNL has also announced that the 3G services will also be available to certain areas across Erode.
