All eyes on Pakistan players

It's that time of the year again when purse string are loosened and the rich and the beautiful go shopping for cricketers.
This time around, the men in green are expected to provide the sparks and the talking point. As T20 world champions, they should sell like hot cakes, but the question is will they?
The fluid political situation has meant that while they have been cleared for the auction, team owners aren't sure if they should risk bidding for Pakistan players.
Sensing the discomfort, the world's most feared T20 player has made a desperate pitch to the team bosses.
"Pakistan are World Champions in T20 and they will bring value to the tournament. Pakistan players will bring the message of peace and harmony," Shahid Afridi said in a phoner from Adelaide, where he is currently playing in the KFC T20 Big Bash.
Scramble for stars
The focus may be on the Pakistanis but a scramble is expected for several other stars.
Kieron pollard, who made such a stunning impact with his bold hitting for Trinidad and Tobago in the Champions League T20 will be a huge draw. In fact, reports say almost every franchise is aiming to pocket Pollard.
Shane bond of New Zealand is another man expected to draw huge interest.
Wayne Parnell, South Africa's tear-away fast bowler is another player in line for some big bucks.
Upul tharanga's recent form at the top of the order and Nuwan Kulasekara's steady but effective spells with the new ball make them the only two Sri Lankans likely to pick up contracts.
Only two Aussies, Brad Haddin and Phil Hughes are expected to draw interest and of the eight englishmen, Eoin Morgan is the most likely to be richer by the end of the day.
