The pathbreaking director Vasantha Balan after the critically acclaimed hit Angadi Theru has started his work on his new film Aravan. The film is produced by T Siva of Amma Creations.
The film will have Aadhi of Mirugam & Eeram fame as hero while Dhansika, who debuted in Peraanmai, will play the female lead. Malayalee girl Archana Kavi of Neelathamara fame (see pic) will be the second heroine.
Vasanth Balan who introduced GV Prakash is once again introducing a new music director, playback singer Karthik, while Siddharth will be the cameraman.
Vasantha Balan speaking about his new film says: “Aravan means a man who has all the qualities of a macho hero. It is a period film set in the 18th century and story is on life and times then for an ordinary Tamilian and will have all commercial ingredients.”
