Everyone wants a slice of Simbu these days! Silambarasan who was on a whirlwind tour of Tamil Nadu to promote his film Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya (VTV), was mobbed by his ardent fans in a theatre in Salem town.
The incident happened when Simbu fans mobbed their favourite hero as he was coming out of the car he was travelling at a theatre complex in Salem. They wanted to shake his hand and in the melee, the actor sprained his right hand.
Says Simbu: “ I have not seen such fan frenzy as everybody wanted to shake my hand, but due to their over enthusiasm I sprained my right hand . Thanks to producer and now actor Ganesh, I managed to come out of the theatre where there was no proper security to manage the crowds.”
Meanwhile producer Ganesh also got his fingers hurt in the process of helping Simbu. After a press meet at Tiruchi, the VTV team had to cancel the rest of their promotional tour. Simbu has come back to Chennai and is taking rest at his house.
