ROAD movie tells the story of a rebellious boy Vishnu (Abhay Deol) who set himself for a journey on his masterwork Chey truck and also consider the decision a better way to flee away from becoming a salesman at his father work-place, a hair oil company. In the movie ROAD, Vishnu has already known that his old truck Chey would become famous in his lifetime which is really an old touring cinemascope.
In his journey initial part over the desert road he first meets a young boy who does job at a tea-shop. Vishnu accepts his demand with pleasure of giving him the life. After that in the movie ROAD, the truck breaks down in the midst of the journey and Vishnu puts blame on the boy.
