Sri Lanka, India and New Zealand will play a triangular series in Sri Lanka from 8th September 2009, ahead of the Champions Trophy.
The BCCI confirmed that India will take part in the tournament, which will consist a total of four matches. Each team will play each other once, and the top two teams will advance to the final.
India will start the Sri Lanka one-day tri-series with back-to-back matches on September 11 and 12. India will play New Zealand on September 11, followed by a match against Sri Lanka the next day.
Sri Lanka domestic Twenty20 champions - Wayamba, would participate in the Champions League in India from October 8-23 at the invitation of the Indian board.

The second ODI between India and New Zealand will be played on 11th September 2009 at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
