Former Australian leg spinner Shane Warne is to join the battle against racist attacks on Indians down under.
Warne will soon meet the senior government officials including Victorian Premier John Brumby early next month to work out how to stop such attacks.
Victoria has been witness to some of the most violent racist attacks including that on Indian student Nitin Garg.
Warne is known to have condemned such attacks as early as June last year when he spoke out against them in an interview to a local Australian Newspaper. "I think it is atrocious what is going on with Indian students," said Warne.
