The much expected BSNL’s 3G service will finally be launched in Coimbatore today.
Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology A. Raja will launch the service in Coimbatore today.
Minister for Rural Industries and Animal Husbandry Pongalur N. Palanisam and Minister for Khadi and Village Industries K. Ramachandran will also attend the function.
Raja will make the first call which will be received by K. Ramachandran.
BSNL offers 3G at a cheap rate, where it costs only 30 paise per minute for local video and voice calls and 50 paise for STD calls.
